Welcome back guys! Here is to week 2 of quarantine and we made until now so let's pat ourselves on the back for not going completely crazy (yet). Actually, while staying home it can be very hard for us to be physically active as much as we would like to and laziness can also take a toll on our body for the lack of movement. In addition to the fact that because of this pandemic, many businesses have closed including gym centers so how are going to workout if we can even go to the gym? Well, home workouts are here to save us.
Home workouts can be not everybody cup of tea because it can be hard to feel as efficient as you would like to when working out at home which I do understand but what we do not know about home workouts is the fact that they do bring small benefits such as :
Comfort of your home to move freely
The Use of your own equipment (no shared germs!)
There is no timeline of your session
No distractions such as too much noises
No sharing spaces with others
So as you can see there are some benefits to have some home workouts and you get to have fun in the comfort of your own home (blast the music!). Now more than ever, it is important to stay active as much as we can. Create a schedule where you incorporate time for your workout session. It can be either in the morning as soon as you wake up or in the afternoon before dinner (put your alarm on!). Make sure to give your body enough activity to maintain your healthy lifestyle.
Here are a few of my favorites apps to download providing some heavy home workouts:
